1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how IAMMOGUL™, operating as IAMMOGUL, handles personal information in connection with our website, membership applications, member portal, experiences, events, reservations and support services.
For privacy questions, contact the IAMMOGUL team through our Contact page. IAMMOGUL is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
2. Information we collect
Information provided through our services may include:
- Account and application details: name, email, phone, city, profession, company, job title, industry, membership interests, referral information and application messages.
- Profile details: a profile image, biography and directory visibility preferences.
- Membership and billing records: selected level, subscription status, payment identifiers, invoices and refunds.
- Event activity: reservations, guest names and contact details where requested, drawing or waitlist entries and attendance/check-in records.
- Support communications: concierge requests, notes you submit and responses from the team.
- Technical information: authentication and security information, request logs and information processed by our hosting and payment providers.
When you provide guest details, ensure you are permitted to provide them and direct the guest to this policy.
3. How information is used
We use information to review applications, operate accounts, administer memberships, process payments, manage reservations and guest admission, run drawings and waitlists, verify attendance, respond to requests and protect the service against misuse.
Account-related messages may include verification, password reset, payment and service information. If promotional messages are sent, the applicable communication preferences and unsubscribe options should explain how to manage them.
4. Payments and service providers
Stripe processes payment information through its checkout and billing services. Our membership system stores billing references and transaction records associated with your account; payment-card details are handled through Stripe’s payment flow.
The service uses Webflow for website delivery, Firebase/Google services for authentication, database and file storage, and Heroku for backend hosting. Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used on these pages. These providers may process technical information when their services are used.
Each provider may also handle information under its own terms and privacy notices.
5. Directory, guests and check-in
If you enable directory visibility, eligible members can view the profile fields displayed by the directory, such as your name, profile image, city, profession, company, industry and biography. Directory visibility is separate from information available to administrators for operating your membership.
Authorized staff can review membership and reservation information when checking your digital card and confirming admission. This may include guest details needed for the associated reservation. Treat your digital card and QR code as personal access information.
Files published as event or experience attachments may be accessible through their download links. Do not submit confidential information for publication as an event attachment.
6. When information is shared
Information may be shared with service providers supporting the platform, authorized staff, and event or venue partners where needed to administer the applicable experience or admission. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate handling.
Directory information is made visible through your directory preference. Event and guest information is shared for the relevant booking or admission, rather than being automatically displayed in the member directory.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The portal uses browser storage to maintain sign-in sessions and, where applicable, retain a temporary return destination during login or signup. Hosting, authentication and payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies as part of their services.
Browser controls can clear or restrict storage, which may affect sign-in persistence. These controls do not necessarily replace consent or opt-out options required for optional tracking.
Technical services may process device, browser, network and usage information to deliver pages, maintain security and assess service performance. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent account features from working.
8. Retention and security
Information is retained for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, managing payments and resolving disputes, subject to applicable requirements. Archiving a record in the portal does not itself delete the underlying information.
Retention depends on whether an application is under review, a membership or reservation is ongoing, records are needed for accounting or dispute resolution, or a legal obligation requires retention. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, it is deleted or de-identified, subject to backup handling and lawful retention requirements.
We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the service. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your choices and requests
You can update available profile fields and directory preferences through your account. You may also contact us through our Contact page to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern.
Requests are subject to identity verification and applicable requirements. Some information may need to be retained for billing, legal or security purposes. Deleting an account is separate from cancelling a recurring subscription; see the Membership Terms and Refund Policy.
Privacy rights and available complaint or appeal routes depend on your location and the laws applicable to the service. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Submit requests through our Contact page and identify the account and request concerned. We will respond under the requirements applicable to your request. You may also contact the relevant privacy authority where that right applies.
10. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you reside. The service is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and uses cloud service providers whose infrastructure may operate across locations. Privacy protections and laws may differ between locations. Contact us with questions about the handling of information associated with your account.
11. Children and age restrictions
The membership service is intended for an adult audience. It is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit information about a child through a membership application or public profile. Event-specific age limits are described in the applicable event terms; alcohol-related offerings are restricted to persons aged 21 or older.
If you believe information has been provided by a child contrary to the applicable age requirements, contact {email}.
12. Changes and contact
Updates to this policy will be posted with a revised effective date. Where required, additional notice or choices will be provided for material changes.
